heLLLLoOoOOOoooOooOo~ mammoth!
BEAUTIFUL conditions, could NOT have asked for better. went on saturday and wow... awesome. =) a lil chilly, but powder everywhere, lift lines not long, clear skies, and all that for a mere $42, since i'm 18 and all. otherwise i would have had to pay $14 more. *tsk tsk* lucky me, eh? well for those of you who have yet to visit mammoth, DO SO. u are MISSING OUT otherwise!!!! if u take the gondola all the way to the top, take caution. u will be blown away, or at least your board will, and i'm not kidding. 60-70 mph winds at the summit, powder flying around everywhere, u being knocked around by wind... i've never felt such strong winds in my life. we were forced to take the runs on the back of the mountain it was so dang windy. but 'twas fun!
and as always, on the way back home from mammoth there are
3 stops u must make:
1) original
sheepherder's bread in bishop.
2) fresh
beef jerky somewhere along the 395. u'll see signs. =)
3)
manzanar, former japanese-american relocation camp (what's left of it), 5 miles south of independence
u can't go wrong!! enjoy! make it a family trip! wheeeee~
alright time to seriously get cracking..
GRE this THURSDAY. study study study......
